David first entered the legal profession in 1975 and achieved his legal qualifications by 1982, working in St James’s. David practised for many years in partnership and on his own account, before moving from London to Sussex with his wife and daughter.
David’s legal background is in commercial law and litigation, insurance, commercial law, contracts and private client work. David has been active in voluntary work and local politics and has served as a District, Town and Parish Councillor. David was admitted as a Freeman of the City of London in 1996.
David has also worked within the Financial Services industry dealing with compliance and the mechanics of transferring and setting up pension schemes, charging and administration, and establishing and running a ‘family office’. “A very useful chap to have on your side.”
